We took Kyle to the doctor today for his 4 month check-up. He checked out very healthy but was unable to get his shots due to an increased temperature, from his little cold, no doubt. The doctor wanted his temperature to be below 100 and it was 100.1. So, I have to take him back next week for the yucky shots. Otherwise, he is very healthy and weighed in at 15 lbs, 12 ounces (63%) and 26.5 inches (90%). Big boy!! Here are some pictures of all three kids at four months of age.
Very, very laid back and has such a sweet smile and voice when he coos.
Can roll from his back to his front and front to his back but won't do a complete roll at one time.
He is really pushing up on his arms this past week and looking around when he is on his belly.
He is wearing some 9 month clothes! What in the world?
He seems very ready to eat as when he sees us eat, you can tell he is taking notes. We will start rice cereal when we get back from Disney World, which I should be packing for right now but had to update all of you! Takes a six ounce bottle about five times a day. I stopped all nursing/pumping about two weeks ago. It was very hard and I was very sad about it. Of course, after today's visit to the doctor and finding out how much he weighs, I am pretty sure there is no way I could have kept up with this chow-hound! I just enjoyed the nursing the most with him and it went very, very well. It was definitely a bonding experience this time but I do feel as though I have more of my freedom back now as well as an improved mental state.
Can't wait to watch this little guy grow up but don't want it to happen too fast. He is quite a little joy to have around.
